Listen to Your Body

I have practiced yoga on and off for twenty years. It was only in 2020 that I made the decision to train as a yoga teacher. This journey has supported me through the turmoil of Covid 19, losing a loved one and my own personal health scare.

Yoga helped me through some very challenging times in my life. My own healing and growth experiences have inspired me to support others to support themselves through yoga.

​

As an ex-secondary school teacher I know how stress can affect the mind and body. As a parent of a beautiful seven year-old I know how easy it can be to get caught up in the demands of life and lack the time and energy to give yourself self-care and be present with your loved ones. I love that yoga offers the time to be present in the moment, let the rest of the world merge away and allow you to truly connect with yourself. It can be restorative and it can be energizing depending on what you need.

Come to a class, listen to your own body's needs and work within that. Our bodies are all different and all feel different at different times. There is never any judgment in my classes, we are all humans doing the best we can. Honour your amazing body and give it the love it deserves.
